Walk me plank!

9:53 AM 9/10/08 · Last night was a bit odd. A lot of the time I'll wake up during the middle of the night and when I go back to sleep I'll have an entirely different dream sequence than when I was just asleep before. However, last night I got up 3 times but each time I got back into it I almost literally took back up where I left off.

It was about pirates, matey.

Yarr!

Kind of an off mix but Captain Barbossa was there and not happy as there were 2 Captain Jack Sparrows. One was the classic Johnny Depp version but the other looked like he was from some kids book. He was literally a simplified cartoon, just a few pegs more defined than a stick figure. Other than that they were a lot alike...though it was creepy watching them argue.

Lots of usual pirate fare from wenching to looting but somewhere around the way it reulted in a 3·way sword duel between the Captain Jacks. A new one popped up, a much more accurate and literal translation of what Captain Jack might've been like were it not for Disney (not a nice guy) and he was gighting the other two. They were fighting each other on sometyhing so trivial as there can only be one real Captain Jack.

It was kind of confusing.

Made moreso given that I has a sort of bird's eye view of the whole thing as we were driving to the scene of battle. Not sure how we were to get there seeing as they were fighting on a pirate ship and we were driving through downtown San Mateo, which is nowhere near any significant body of water if you're not familiar with it. Even more troubling than that was I wasn't driving...

...it was a little Italian family. Old woman grumbling some unfriendly stuff in her native tongue, which I don't know so I'm just assuming, someone else behind me, and the eldest son (who was barely able to ee above the steering wheel). The car was some ancient jalopy that felt like it was going to shake apart at any second and we were taking extreme turns with screeching tires.

Honestly don't know if we ever got there or who won the fight before I woke up.
